Metal forming processes are an indispensable aspect of our society; without them, we would come to a halt. Metal shaping processes produce products and components that are utilised in anything from scaffolding and heavy machinery to designing and manufacturing microprocessors and artificial intelligence. Depending on the desired effects, most forming procedures can be performed at either hot or cold temperatures. While some procedures use bulk workpieces (such as bars) to make a completed product, others use sheet or plate. Metal forming offers various advantages as a process, including a high rate of production, higher mechanical qualities in the finished product, and no waste in the raw material. It is, however, simply one type of manufacturing process. It's also utilised in aerospace to make engine parts, blades, and structural pieces out of metal. 



 This book elucidates new techniques and their applications in a multidisciplinary approach with respect to metal forming. It describes in details the various concepts and methods used in this field. Dillon Isbell received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Technological University, Sydney. He is a Visiting Professor at Science Institute, Birmingham. His research work in the field of smart materials and alloys has won him several awards. Isbell has authored and edited numerous articles, journal papers and book in the field of materials science and engineering.
